The Bogue Banks Rasslin' Federation has done it again! Just when it seemed that no card could be put together that could possibly top our last event, here we come with another extravaganza that even eclipses the glory of Rasslemania 8. Suffice it to say that the August Rasslemania Event was the usual incredible success and your responses and congratulations concerning that event have been most greatly appreciated. But you ain't seen nothing yet. Beginning at 6:00 am this coming Monday morning will be a rasslin extravaganza that is sure to be talked about for generations to come. This glorious event will be held on top of the septic tanks on the west side of Cedar Lane off of Fort Macon Road in Atlantic Beach and will feature the first ever "Septic Tank Smackdown" between "Sheriff" WW Weaver and Mayor Joe Stroud. This no holds barred, no time limit, battle royale will only be concluded with the victor tossing the vanquished into the tank. In the immediately following tag team match the losing team will have to fish the loser of the Weaver-Stroud bout out of the tank and the loser of the Weaver-Stroud match will have to stay in the tank until they are fished out at the conclusion of the second bout.

If this weren't enough excitement, there will also be 4 other championship matches on the card including the world's first inter-gender, inflatable, tag-team title match. This type of creative championship rasslin is what has established Bogue Banks as the "Rasslin' Capital of the Western World and Carteret County". Of course we could not have accomplished this without the help and support of you ... our legions of fans and supporters (not to mention the incredible rasslin talent of our local residents and elected officials). We do appreciate the thousands of suggestions and expressions of support that you send us each week. We couldn't do it without you ... so keep those cards, letters, emails, and donations coming !

Also for your entertainment on Monday there will be a mullet cleaning contest, a beauty pageant and hog calling contest, and a halftime Roller Derby match between the Beaufort Bay Area Bombers and the Davis Blue Devils. If this weren't enough, there will also be a raffle with the winning prize being a case each of Evening in Harlowe Industrial Strength Perfume and Mack Daddy Cologne (donated by Annie's Salon in Morehead). The matches will be convened by the singing of the National Anthem by the Joe Stroud Quintet. Obviously this is going to be a once in a lifetime event that you will not want to miss !

As always, tickets will be 10 cents in advance (before 6:00 am) and 15 cents at the gate. Be sure and come early to avoid the traffic jams and parking delays that always accompany these Rasslemania events. Parking will be provided by FMB as discussed in the recent Council Meeting and there will be shuttle buses from all parking areas to the site of the match. All proceeds from the match will be donated to the WW Weaver for Sheriff Foundation.
