Message:  Rabid Rasslin Fans,

We are proud and excited to announce that The Bogue Banks Wrestling Alliance has been named the number one wrestling federation in the western world and Carteret County by Extreme Wrestling Magazine. Of course this would not have been possible without the fervent support of our many fans and the incredible wrestling talent of our elected officials and local residents.

In order to show our appreciation to you, our loyal fans, we have put together a rasslin event that is unmatched in the history of the sport. Be sure and mark this Monday, August 7th on your calendars because this is one event that you will definitely not want to miss. Gates will open at 6am Monday morning but you will definitely want to come early in order to avoid the traffic jams that have accompanied prior events. Once again, parking will be available at Fort Macon State Park and a shuttle bus service will be available to transport you from the parking lot to Patches Beach Club where the event will be held on the front deck overlooking the circle.

On this historic card will be 4 championship matches and 5 tag team bouts featuring all your favorite wrestling superstars. Halftime entertainment will be provided by the Joe Stroud Quintet, a hard rocking band who were recently featured on public access television (see band picture attached to this notice). There will also be a beauty contest and hog calling competition for your enjoyment. As always tickets will be 15 cents at the gate and 10 cents in advance with all proceeds going to the WW Weaver for Sheriff Foundation. Advance tickets may be purchased at the Dead Tree Hole, the Atlas Tanker, AR 315, and Annie's Salon in Morehead. Once again Annie's Salon is Sponsoring this historic event and this week's co-sponsors will be "Mack Daddy Cologne" and "Evening in Harlowe Perfume", both of which are available at Annie's Salon in Morehead City.
