You asked for it ... you got it. The biggest rasslin'

extravaganza in the history of The Bogue Banks

Wrestling Alliance. On the card will be such wrestling

superstars as "Sheriff" WW Weaver, "Professor" Joe

Stroud, Doug "Triple H" Harris, "Rowdy Ron" Gohr,

"Dangerous Dan" Luper, Bugs "the Brain" Wetherington,

and Frank "the Iron Sheik" Rouse. Also on the card

there will be exciting mixed gender matches and midget

matches. And if that weren't enough, the special

halftime show will be the Mr Carteret County 2004

contest.

Heading the card will be a rematch of the exciting

pier toss championship that was held on the end of

Sportsman's Pier last month between "Sheriff" WW

Weaver and "Professor" Joe Stroud.  Pier Toss Match

rules state that the first man that hits the water

loses the bout and the man remaining on the pier is

crowned World Champion of Carteret County. The Bogue

Banks Wrestling Alliance has been swamped with

thousands of requests for this rematch. As all of you

remember, in the original match, both WW and Joe fell

off the pier before the opening bell thus resulting in

a double disqualification. This time the railings on

the pier will be left in place eliminating the

possibility of that outcome happening a second time.

As always, tickets will be 10 cents in advance and 15

cents at the gate with all proceeds going to the WW

Weaver for Sheriff Foundation. Advance tickets are

available at the Dead Tree Hole, the Atlas Tanker,

Money Island, and Annie's Salon in Morehead City. The

event will be held on Sunday, April 11 at 6:00am at

Sportsman's Pier and gates will open at 5:30am. Be

sure and come early to avoid the traffic jams that

have occurred at prior events. Once again, there will

be public parking at Fort Macon State Park and a

shuttle bus between Fort Macon and Sportsman's Pier

for your convenience.

bonus also attached to this email is a rare photo of

an 11 year old WW Weaver taken minutes before his

first wrestling match.
